This
issue we look at new web
site for craft shop
Bee Inspired, based in Kettering, Northamptonshire. Client's brief to the web
site designer: To create a fresh and interesing web site where
new and existing customers can browse online the hundreds of different
craft related products offered by Bee Inspired, and then order,
either online or by calling the shop. Project approach Meetings
were held between client and designer to look at the likely needs
of visitors to the site, how best to organise and display categories
of product,
and how best to load the extensive product range in the quickest
possible time.
An e-commerce package developed by web designer Abbey Park was
used as the basis for the project, allowing a rapid implementation
of proven features, while enabling customisation to Bee Inspired's
requirements. Special dataload programs were developed to speed
up the creation of a products database. Outcome Feedback from customers has been good, with the
web site making people much more aware of the wide range of products
Bee Inspired can offer. It has also caused more people to visit
the shop and has created a new buzz among the customer base. Also in Kettering - Patrick Reed Music

Client
feedback:
"We
were pleased that unlike some companies we contacted, Abbey
Park took the time to visit our
shop and get to know us and
our business. This meant the resulting web site was much better
tailored to our needs". David
Aguilar, Bee Inspired, Kettering.
